OUR STORY
Ira Ono is the Owner /Director of Volcano Garden Arts in Volcano Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. His gallery opened 18 years ago and is located in an historic 1908 estate. The gallery provides a showcase for contemporary art of Hawaii: ceramics, masks, paintings, outdoor garden sculptures, wearable art necklaces, and unique and exquisite handmade gifts.
The Collection features work by over 80 regional and internationally recognized artist, including Ira Ono. Located in the upland native Hawaiian rainforest, adjacent to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on three-acres of historic gardens, with outdoor art installations and studios, the gallery is home to every stage of the creative process.
